Celesio AG is among the world's leading service providers in the pharmaceutical and health market; it is active in 27 countries with approximately 47,000 employees.
Since May 2010, Celesio has been using SAP CRM 7.0 and it can now integrate the giant quantities of data from twelve European countries about approximately one million medications and health products and approximately 10,000 suppliers in a single system.
This way, the company gains a central view of all suppliers in Europe as well as of all products that are sold by Celesio companies in Europe. The new CRM solution enables the management and Purchasing to generate current and reliable information about important figures such as product sales for strategic planning at any time.
